However, any losses incurred or sustained by customers who transmit information by means of email or other internet link shall be borne solely and exclusively by that customer and in no event shall any such losses in whole or in part be borne by Bags of Books. If you are using a public computer, you must sign out when you have finished shopping.

Bags of Books or its associations must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received Bags of Books or its associations will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your order form. Acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us or between you and our associations.

The prices payable for goods that you order is as set through our Web site.

You will be required to pay extra for delivery and this charge will be advised to you.

To withdraw your order from Bags of Books you must contact us in writing at the address set out in the Bags of Books contact details page of this Web site. Any goods delivered must be in original packaging and un-opened otherwise you loose your right to withdraw. Goods must be returned to Bags of Books at your own risk and cost.

Once you have notified Bags of Books that you are withdrawing your order, any sum debited to Bags of Books from your credit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order PROVIDED THAT the goods in question are returned by you and received by Bags of Books in the condition they were in when delivered to you.

Where you are purchasing directly from an association with our site you should check the withdrawal and returns policy of that association.

If Bags of Books has insufficient stock to deliver the goods ordered by you, any sum debited by Bags of Books from your credit card will be re-credited to your account and Bags of Books will notify you by email at the address given by you in your order form. The refund will be made as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order. Bags of Books will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.

Bags of Books will make every effort to deliver the goods ordered by you to the address you give Bags of Books for delivery at the time you make your order.

You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and Bags of Books will not be liable for their loss or destruction.

If the goods Bags of Books delivers are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, Bags of Books shall have no liability to you unless you notify Bags of Books in writing at the Bags of Books contact address of the problem within 10 working days of the delivery of goods in question.

If you do not receive goods ordered by you within 30 days of the date on which you ordered them, Bags of Books shall have no liability to you unless you notify Bags of Books in writing at the Bags of Books contact address of the problem within 30 days of the date on which you ordered the goods.

If you notify a problem to Bags of Books under this condition, Bags of Book's only obligation will be -

1. To make good any shortage or non-delivery;
2. To replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective; or
3. To refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question in whatever way Bags of Books chooses.

Nothing in this condition is, however, intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law.

Bags of Books shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.

If any part of these conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which Bags of Books excludes its liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.

The contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Irish law, and the Irish courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.

These terms and conditions, together with the current Bags of Books Web site prices, delivery details and Bags of Books contact details, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the goods to you by Bags of Books. These terms and conditions cannot be varied except in writing signed by a director of Bags of Books. In particular nothing said by any sales person on behalf of Bags of Books should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions or as an authorised representation about the nature or quality of any goods offered for sale by Bags of Books. Bags of Books shall have no liability for any such representation being untrue or misleading.

This agreement does not cover any purchases you make from third party sites as a result of linkage from Bags of Books. You should make yourself aware of the conditions applied directly by those sites.

In these terms and conditions: -

• "Bags of Books" means Bags of Books; it does not cover any un-connected organisation that actually supplies goods ordered by you
• "Working day" means every day of a calendar year apart from weekends and statutory and public holidays
• "Us" means Bags of Books and you together; and
• "You" and "your" means the person ordering goods under these terms and conditions.

If you have bought a product online from Bags of Books and would like to return it, please contact us. You need the product and your Bags of Books Online receipt. If it is in the condition in which it was received, we will give you a Bags of Books voucher to match the value of the book on the receipt or provide a refund to your credit card to match the value of the book on the receipt.
